Acai Bowl

I’ve seen Acai bowls all over Instagram, but living in Wisconsin, finding one here is mission impossible. I had my first Acai bowl when I was in California and I fell in LOVE. Straight up, L O V E. and it’s something you don’t even have to feel bad about eating. I couldn’t find Acai powder in stores ANYWHERE so I finally bought some online. I made 2 this morning and they turned out WONDERFUL! I’m excited to eat them on a regular basis.


You can truly make Acai bowls however you want to as long as you have the powder and frozen bananas. For the one I made this morning, I used: (2 servings)

2 frozen bananas
2 Tbsp powdered peanut butter
4 tbsp Acai
1 C. Unsweetened Almond Milk
.5 C frozen blueberries

.5 C sliced strawberries
2 Tbsp dried coconut
2 tsp Flax seed
2 Tbsp peanut butter granola

Blend up the bananas, peanut butter, Acai powder, almond milk and blueberries and top the bowls with the rest of the ingredients. Super easy! and healthy. and delicious.1456092626
