Week 4!

Heyyyyo! I didn’t forget to post, I promise. It’s just been a busy, busy week.

First of all, I’d like to inform you that:

1. I re-joined Weight Watchers last week. Weight Watchers is the program that helped me reach my goal weight back in 2014. I’ve been tracking my calories like crazy lately and not getting much for results. Weight Watchers focuses more on the macro side of things and I know that’s what I need.. I just don’t have time to calculate out macros for every meal on my own. Weight Watchers makes it easy. Obviously I’m not saying it’s a full-on macro program, it’s not specific like that. But it does base points off of Protein, Carbs, Fats, Sugar, etc. I get 30 points per week + whatever I earn back when I work out. It’s going well so far!

2. That being said, I started WW on Wednesday of last week, which means my new weigh-in day is Wednesday (it was Tuesday previously). Just a heads up 🙂

This week went fairly well. I went to Melting Pot with some girl friends last week Friday and ate faaaar too much (went way over my point limit) but it was so good and it’s nice to splurge once in awhile. Saturday I went to another Bachelorette party and drank too much. I didn’t eat a lot, but it was by no means healthy. Sunday my boyfriend and I drove to Madison on a whim and explored State St. for a few hours. My eating was very good – even passed up an Old Fashioned to make sure I stayed within points 😦 #NSV, amiright?

I’ve been keeping consistent with my workouts and reaching my step goal on Fitbit every day. This morning I ran 4.5 miles (intervals, yikes). I’ve stopped staying up so late during the week which has lead me to have much more successful Crossfit workouts (I actually have the energy to try harder). Everything is going well.

So, the moment you’ve all been waiting for — dun dun dun…..

I’m back down on my weight. I’m officially 4 pounds down from when I started. Last week was a little throw off but that’s ok. I got myself back on track and I am so much more motivated than I have been. Now if I could just help my boyfriend to find that same “healthy eating” motivation… 😉
